What Are Two of The Top Travel Marketing Strategies?
Link
Without a doubt, using technology wisely to market travel has yielded the highest return on investment of any new marketing we have done in our Baja, Mx. Eco-Adventure resort since 9/11//2001.

I call this; Internet Tourism Marketing.

Here are some recent new web pages about the two of the best travel marketing strategies: ( if done right)

I did some research and posted on my site, some great testimonials from:
  • Travel Alberta
  • Seattle Visitor & Convention Bureau
and other travel professionals who use Google Adwords to effectively target their markets fast and yield a profit.

There's even a cool video from "Wired Destinations" who uses Adwords to sell over USD $80,000 A DAY in travel. Check it out. It's pretty cool.

Warning on Pay Per Click Advertising

I have wasted a lot of money on ineffective pay per click advertising on Yahoo and Google.

Anybody else?

Now it's different. I learned some critical new strategies from a guy named Perry Marshall who has a free mini-course on how to "beat the Google System.

I have read and applied Perry's advice on many key phrases for myself and clients. The bottom line is I am getting more click, for less money and I am happy.

Better yet, using some simple but effective options Google offers that I learned from Perry, I am able to "split test" my ads and find out which offer the market best responds to.

This is super important because Google actually rewards you with higher placement on the page for no more money which yield higher traffic.

More traffic for less money and I learn what ad content provides best results. And I got these results fast and for not much money!

This is tourism marketing using technology I love.

For a Free Copy of Perry's Mini-Course, go to my new page on : Google Travel Marketing

I would love to hear from other travel professionals on your "Pay per click" trials, successes and "learning opportunities"

Search Engine Optimization ( How to Earn Top Ranking Profitably)

Look for a future blog post on the challenges of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and why it may not be the best strategy for you on your travel marketing.

SEO is a long term strategy. If you are considering SEO, be sure to ask for proof of the SEO company successes and the top questions on this new page on Internet Travel marketing.
